Lumineers are extremely thin veneers (tooth- like material shell) made out of ceramic/porcelain. The fineness of the Lumineers is often compared to the thinness of contact lenses for the eyes. They cover the natural teeth and can be used to treat all manner of problems, including crooked teeth, gaps between teeth and tooth stains.

Why choose LUMINEERS?

One of the major advantages is that they are much thinner than normal veneers, which means that less of the natural tooth will be removed before fitting the Lumineers.

Another most impressive thing about Lumineers is their durability as they are proven to last over 20 years when well cared for. The material used is incredibly strong and outdoes other veneers in terms of strength and durability.

When to choose LUMINEERS?

Lumineers can treat a range of problems tooth imperfections, restructuring the teeth into a more aesthetically pleasing shape, colour and alignment.

  1. Chipped or worn out teeth
  2. Unevenly  maligned teeth
  3. Discolored/stained Teeth
  4. Defect in tooth shape and size
  5. Gap between the teeth

Procedure for LUMINEERS

The Lumineers are fitted over two appointments in most cases.

1st appointment – Little preparation is done on the natural teeth, if any at all. An impression will initially be taken and sent off to the Lumineer laboratory. The colour of the Lumineers is decided at this stage. It can be chosen to match the rest of the natural teeth, or you can choose to create a whiter look for all your teeth.

2nd Appointment- The teeth are dried and prepared to receive the Lumineers.  The Lumineers are then delicately applied to the teeth. There is No pain involved in any of the procedures.

While many dentists offer veneers, not all dentists have been trained to deliver the signature benefits of Lumineers. Clover Medical Centre boasts of its Lumineer Certified Dentist- Dr. Satyaki Arora who regularly handles Lumineer cases.
